The following is an obituary in the Lunenburg Progress Enterprise of Wed, Feb 15 1939, (pg 4)

"Mrs J Frank Hall - The late Mrs J Frank Hall after a prolonged illness, a practically helpless invalid for the last five years, passed away on Sunday, February 12th, at 5 am.  She retained her mental activity, taking interest in household affairs and general surroundings up to the night of Tuesday, the 7th, when she became unconcious and continued so until the end.  The funeral took place on Tuesday, 14th, from the family residence to St John's Anglican Church, thence to Hillside (sic) cemetery for interment, Rev W E Ryder, M A, rector of the parish, officiating.  The pall beraers were Capt C D Ritcey, Capt J N Smith, Mr J A Lohnes, Mr C A Anderson, and Mr J S Holland.  Left to mourn their loss are her husband; two daughters, Mabel, Mrs L R Berringer, who has been with her mother for some weeks and will leave shortly with her son Grantley to join her husband in California; and Leila, Mrs H A Berg, Auburndale, Mass; two sons, William at home; and Frank, North Pine, B.C.; also one sister Miss Harriet Morash, Boston.  Mr Hall's sister, Mrs A D Morris, Halifax, arrived the evening before Mrs Hall's passing to be with the family in their bereavement.

Moyle Haughn     1951 obituary:
 
Following a period of illness there passed away at his home on Saturday night an esteemed citizen of the town, Mr. Moyle Haughn, aged 75 years.
 
For 36 years the late Mr. Haughn was engineer of the Lunenburg Marine Railway, in which capacity he was recognized as very proficient and where he made many friends.
 
His wife, Bessie Haughn, predeceased him by only a few years and he is survived by four sons, Winburne G. Haughn, representative of the Dominion Life Insurance Company; Fred, Manager of the Lunenburg Coal & Supply Co.; Harris and Murray, employees of the Lunenburg Foundry Co.; and one daughter, Miss Beatrice, at home. There are also surviving two brothers, Barney Haughn, Halifax; Otto, resident in the United States; and five sisters, Mrs. Lena Terney, Lynn, Mass.; Mrs. Amiel Rafuse, Cambridge, Mass.; Mrs. Agnes Emeneau, Halifax; Mrs. Edwin Corkum and Mrs. A. F. Morash, both of Lunenburg.
 
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from the home on Lorne Street. The service was conducted by his pastor, Rev. E.B.S. Miller of Central United Church. Officers and members of Rising Sun Lodge, I.O.O.F. of which the late Mr. Haughn was a member, attended in a body and conducted their rites at the graveside. Interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Fred Moyle Haughn -

Haughn, Fred Moyle - 86, 101 Townsend St., Lunenburg, died Wednesday at home. Born in Lunenburg, he was a son of the late Moyle and Bessie (Hall) Haughn. He was a retired employee of the accounts department, National Sea Products, where he worked for 50 years. He was a member and elder of Central United Church. He was a longtime member of Odd Fellows, a director of the Navy League of Canada, Lunenburg Branch, chairman of Nova Scotia Fisheries Exhibition Parade Committee and former member of Lunenburg Curling Club. The last surviving member of his immediate family, he is survived by his wife, the former Lucile Hebb; a daughter, Janice (Mrs. Albert Morgan), Charlottetown; five grandchildren; a great-grandson. He was predeceased by a daughter, Sandy Buchan; three brothers, Harris, Winburn, Murray; a sister Beatrice. The body is in Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday in Central United Church, Rev. Vincent Ihasz officiating.  Burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to any charity.

Lucile Ellen "Lou" Haughn -

Haughn, Lucile Ellen "Lou" - 90, Lunenburg, died, October 30, 1999, in Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Lunenburg, she was a daughter of the late George and Ellen (Selig) Hebb. She graduated with her RN in Nursing from Mt. Auburn Hospital, Cambridge, Mass., her RN Nurse Anesthetist from MacLeod Hospital, Boston, Mass., and Supt. of Nurses in MacLeod Hospital, Boston, Mass. Later, she returned to Nova Scotia and married Frederick Haughn in 1934. Lucile operated a nursing home until the opening of the Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg, where she became one of the first night nurses there. She was active in local and provincial levels of the Registered Nurses Association, involved in one of the first EMO courses at Armprior Civil Defense College and became first, a Casualty Simulator and then an instructor with the college. She was an active member of Central United Church, Lunenburg and a member of the Mary Gormley Unit of the UCW, and an examiner for badges for the Girl Guides for many years.
During the war years, Lucile was Divisional Superintendent of St. John Ambulance, Lunenburg and headed the Red Cross Blood Donor Clinics, which she continued for many years. Lucile was the last surviving member of her family. She is survived by daughter, Janice (Albert) Morgan, Bonshaw, P.E.I.; son-in-law, John Buchan, Thailand; grandchildren; Trina (Richard) Foster, Victoria, B.C.; Brenda (Terry) Young, Bonshaw, P.E.I.; Fred (France) Morgan, Lunenburg; Rachael (Ernesto) Goncalves, Halifax; Michael Buchan, Vancouver, B.C.; great-grandchildren, John and David Foster, Sangeetha Young, Kandra Morgan. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred; youngest daughter, Sandra Buchan; brothers, Bernard, Wilfred; sister, Jessie. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy.
3, Lunenburg. Visitation from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in Central United Church, Lunenburg, Rev. Grace Caines-Corkum and Rev. Glen McLean officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central United Church, Harbour View Haven for Special Care, Red Cross Society or any other charity.
